Please forgive me for posting out of turn but wanted to share this beautiful and important video with all of the parents on this site.
One of my favorite bloggers, asked mothers and fathers of children diagnosed with special needs what they might have told themselves on the day of their child's diagnosis?
This beautiful video is a montage of these parents and their heart-warming advice to others.
This inspiring piece was produced by my dear friend, Elizabeth. I have never met her, but she is one of many special individuals whom I have befriended thanks to the world of blogging.
Be sure to have a tissue handy when you view this video, and be sure to visit Elizabeth and her beautiful blog. She is a poet, a voracious reader, a spirited conversationalist, a fierce advocate, a sage, and a wonderful mother to three beautiful children.
What would you tell yourself?
Elizabeth writes at her blog: a moon, worn as if it had been a shell...click here to visit.
p.s. If you share this video, please be sure to give credit to Elizabeth, it's original creator and reference her blog. Thank you!
That was just wonderful, sharing it with all my friends in this special world.

ReplyDeleteTalk about heart-wrenching. They have to have this on a medical assistant training program as part of grief management or something.
