In my own point of view your daily food intake can always help in balancing your condition. You should never eat foods that can contradict or worsen your condition.gonzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14985984368645669324noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2959253662881047710.post-2872058975442667732012-03-01T08:09:57.000-06:002012-03-01T08:09:57.000-06:00Thank you all for your comments, I appreciate the ...Thank you all for your comments, I appreciate the feedback.

Lisa Petersnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2959253662881047710.post-17780418780847457772012-02-28T20:23:03.000-06:002012-02-28T20:23:03.000-06:00This is a big problem and not just for ADHD. There are essential oils and herbal supplements that can help a lot of people with ADHD naturally and yes I'm speaking from personal and family experience and not just to say it.

AnnaLaura Brownhttp://annalaurabrown.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2959253662881047710.post-62675756682283338082012-02-28T16:17:29.000-06:002012-02-28T16:17:29.000-06:00Oh man ... this sucks. And unfortunately we may be one more family needing meds therefore making your life more difficult by adding to the demand. Sorry. ;-) As you said though, as scary as it is for parents to put their children on medications, NOT providing them with a way of getting through their day is way worse. Good luck with getting your son what he needs. You seem to be fighting the good fight. I wish it were easier for you.

The Jay Trainhttp://www.lifeonthejtrain.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2959253662881047710.post-40853984019731482952012-02-28T15:36:32.000-06:002012-02-28T15:36:32.000-06:00I am so sorry to hear that red tape is keeping you...I am so sorry to hear that red tape is keeping your son from the medicine he needs. Both my children and my husband are diagnosed and medicated for ADHD---for my husband, medication has often been the difference between losing and keeping a job. While we've occasionally run into issues over prescriptions (some of them have to be delivered to the pharmacy within three days) and sometimes the pharmacy needs a day to order the required amount in to refill, I've never encountered anything like what you describe (we're in Canada).
Is it the same for all the potential ADHD medications? I know it's not fun to switch when you've found one that works, and the non-stimulant versions don't work for everyone, but if the situation is this dire it might be worth looking into. :(

Tanit-Isishttp://tanitisis.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
