We're hopeful parents...
are you?

Our kids have all kinds of special needs, mild to severe. Some of us grieve the loss of our children. We do the very best we can, which often takes a toll on us. We come here to share our feelings with other parents who understand. We're searching for every parent of a child with special needs. Welcome!

Custom Handbag Giveaway from 1154 Lill Studio!

Ever hear of 1154 Lill Studio? They make extraordinary custom handbags. You pick the bag design, you pick the fabrics, they do the rest.

1154 Lill Studio has donated one of their pre-made custom bags to us! They get that parents of kids with special needs may do everything and more to take care of their children, but don't always do the best job taking care of themselves.

They know we don't splurge on ourselves too often, so they've given us one of their fabulous Drea purses valued at 142 dollars!!! Can we say THANK YOU!?!?!?

The coolest feature about the Drea is that it is completely reversible:

Ladies, obviously you may want this purse for yourselves. Guys -- I'll bet you know a woman or two who'd love this bag.

Want in? Here's what to do:

THE RULES

1. Upload a photo of you, your child(ren), your spouse or any combination of those. By uploading a photo, you are giving us permission to use it on the slideshow on our sidebar and for any other future purpose. (The photo doesn't need to be black and white.)

2. The name of the photo should be your e-mail address, for instance jane@hotmail.com.jpg. This way we can contact you if you win.

3. If you win, you MUST take a photo of yourself with the purse. I'd like to use it as part of a thank-you to 1154 Lill Studio for their generosity.

That's it! It's super easy.

EXTRA ENTRIES

For those of you who like a little competition, you can increase your chances of winning if you:

1. Submit multiple photos. If you are doing more than one photo, you should name the first photo with your e-mail address, (say, jane@hotmail.com) and subsequent photos with a number behind it (jane@hotmail.com1). Each photo is a separate entry.

2. Submit a photo AND publicize the giveaway on your blog and come back to this post and comment about what you did. You get one entry with the photo and one entry per blog post on your site.

3. Submit a photo AND Tweet about the giveaway with a link to this post. Each tweet gets an entry, plus the entry for submitting a photo. (If you tweet, and your handle doesn't easily match-up to your e-mail address, please let me know.)

4. Submit a photo AND become a fan on our Facebook page. You get one entry for the photo and one for becoming a fan. (If your name on Facebook doesn't easily match-up to your e-mail address, please let me know.)

DEADLINE

The deadline for entries is Friday, August 7 at midnight Central time. I'll announce the winner who will be chosen at random the following week.

Good luck!
